‘What are you?’ Matthew asked for what seemed like the umpteenth time, but may have been the first.
''That’s not the question, Matthew,’ Kian said as he wagged his finger. ‘The question is, why did an abomination like you, shunned by both the Eternal Darkness and the Eternal Flame, come to this forsaken planet? Why did you sacrifice your life to save the others?’
Matthew remembers who he is now. He knows why he is in the Land of Chaos. To stop the Messiah from destroying the planet. But the task at hand is monumental.
