Archie gave a flick of his finger. He didn’t have to flick his finger, and he wondered why he did it. Probably because they had begun to talk of magicians.
A coach appeared literally by their feet.
Archie sat down on the coach.
Anne jumped a foot in the air and screamed.
‘How did you do that?’ she asked.
‘It’s easy. You’re in the Dream World. All you have to do is imagine what you want and it will appear.’
Anne stared at him for a moment before her eyes lit up. And then, she continued to stare at him with deep concentration before she gave up and stomped her feet.
‘It didn’t work.’
‘Did you try to think of what you want?’
‘Yes.’
‘How did you try to think of what you want?’ Archie asked specifically.
‘How else? I looked at you and imagined you were naked.’
‘...why would you do that?’
‘Because I wanted to see you naked, Archie,’ Anne said, exasperated. ‘I hope you’re not this dense in real life.’
Archie always knew his dreams were different.
While other people slept, Archie could build entire worlds with nothing but a thought. Cities rose from empty ground. Mountains appeared on the horizon. Oceans stretched beneath endless skies. In his dreams, reality was whatever he wanted it to be.
For years, Archie believed he was the only person in the world capable of dreaming like this.
But he was wrong.
When Archie accidentally crosses into another person's dream, he discovers a hidden world existing alongside the dreams of humanity and a clan of people known as the Dream Lords.
The Dream Lords spent centuries protecting ordinary dreamers from creatures known as Nightmares.
Nightmares were twisted beings that stalked the sleeping minds of ordinary humans, growing stronger by feeding on their fears, their goal was to grow strong enough to tear a hole between the fabric of their realities and pour into the human world to cause death and destruction.
Suddenly, Archie’s extraordinary abilities seemed to have a purpose.
But not all seemed right with the Dream Lords. The more Archie discovers, the harder it becomes to tell who really is protecting humanity.
Because in a world where dreams can become reality, the most dangerous thing may not be the monsters hiding in the dark.
It may be the people controlling the dream.
WARNING!! Contains harems and lots of explicit stuff. If you've read my stuff before, you know what to expect. If you haven't, I wouldn't recommend reading this on public transport or at work!
