(The first book in the Carroll County Boys series)
A novel by

“I don’t know all the terms,” Bryan said. “But I do know a few. Like Daddy. That’s what I am.”
He didn’t seem the least bit ashamed or sheepish. He’d stated a fact, plain and simple.
Savanah, however, was taken aback by the revelation. “You’re a Daddy? Like in the novels I’ve read?”
“I don’t know,” he said. “I haven’t read those books. I just know what’s in my heart. You see, I’m of a mindset that a woman should be cherished. Valued above all else. Protected, cared for, and nurtured. Yes, part of that includes discipline but only for her own good.
“That might make me seem old-fashioned. A relic of a bygone era. So be it. I’ve been called worse.” He winked.
Savanah felt a warmth start deep within her belly and suffuse throughout her entire body. She sighed wistfully…”

Savanah is at the end of her rope. She’s always been self-conscious about her curves, but when she finds her boyfriend Owen in bed with another woman—a skinnier woman—she wonders if there’s any hope of ever finding lasting love. That, combined with the stress of a demanding job in the advertising industry, leaves her needing a break.
That’s when she leaves the bustling Kansas City behind for the beautiful, wooded Ozark Mountains. There, in Arkansas, she reconnects with her best friend, Heather.
Heather and her husband, Luke, welcome Savanah to their farm with open arms. It isn’t long, though, before Savanah realizes there is something very unique to Heather’s marriage.
It also isn’t long before she takes note of Luke’s cousin, Bryan Colter—the strong, sexy, stern farmer who lives next-door.
There’s definitely something different about those Colter Boys. They’re old-fashioned in the best sense of the word.
And sexy as all get-out!
Soon, Savanah’s life takes turns she never dreamed of, and she learns that everlasting love isn’t as far off as she thought.
