Summer in the Adirondacks is all about socializing and activities. Dottie expects weeks of tennis, parties, and boating. What she does not expect is the mysterious stranger she meets down by the docks. He is older than the boys she's used to, mature where they are frivolous, and he always knows just what to say. In no time, Dottie is spending every evening down by the abandoned dock, talking to her new friend. But every word he speaks is a trap. He has secrets and motives she could never imagine. And the lessons he wants to teach her are far more intimate than swimming.
