Vanessa Shroud has done many bad things since she died. Just to name a few, she created an army of undead and tried to take over the fabled city of Stukarr until a certain professor and blue mage stopped her before it was too late.
Now, Vanessa attends the Elemental College and is making amends one good deed at a time. Since she is dead and the dead love her, she is trying to right all the wrongs she has done by directing the dead to help rebuild the city.
But as the undead woman tries to do the right thing, old feelings from her former living life keep rushing back. A professor from her living past has reentered her new life and she tries to keep it at bay, desperately trying to be a good person. A hunger moans from the deepest parts of her to taste his flesh in a different way.
Can Vanessa keep to her good intentions? Can the undead woman stop her maddening desires? Will the professor use his influence to tempt the student to his will? Will they break the taboo between the living and the dead so they can satisfy the primal calling of their hearts?
