Three Passes Each - Trilogy
(2024)(A book in the Three Passes Each series)
An omnibus of novels by Bridy McAvoy
The complete trilogy, all three full-length novels brought together for the first time for one exhilarating ride.
Three Passes Each
James thought Carla was a little young for him, but Carla thought otherwise. She confessed she preferred older men for their experience, and James couldn’t do anything other than take up such a challenge from the gorgeous brunette. Their romance was perfection, right up to the point where Carla forced his hand over a prenup, one she insisted on in his favour. It created their first real row, and it wasn’t so much the financial settlement, as the unusual caveat Carla insisted on. It had nothing to do with money, and everything to do with their relationship.
Given how in love he was with his wife, he had no intention of ever using one of the three free passes she’d insisted on; free passes that gave him the right to step outside his marriage vows. In fact, he insisted that turn was turnabout, and she had the same privilege. The last thing he expected was to use one, let alone for Carla to use one too.
Three Passes Each Second Pass
James had accepted the wisdom of Carla’s forward planning when they’d both used one of their free passes to step outside their marriage. James, though, was insistent he wouldn’t need to use one again, and he was sure Carla had no such intention, either.
Fate sometimes throws a couple a curveball, and this time was no exception. They hadn’t intended it, and they hadn’t wanted it, but somehow they both ended up in another situation, one which meant they would use that second pass of the three written into the marriage contract.
Three Passes Each Third Pass
Having used two of the three free passes on their marriage vows, the remaining third pass had become the elephant in the room of their relationship. Carla’s journalistic career had stalled, and she saw this as the perfect time to start a family. There was no way she would take any risks over paternity.
James seemed somewhat disinterested in using that third and final pass, but Carla needed it out of the way.
Carla, though, had an idea, a very interesting idea, given the secret about her friends she’d uncovered. It could make a very interesting third pass for both of them, but to do so, they’d have to agree to break the self-imposed rules. Carla would have to think fast and talk even faster to achieve her aim.
