Summer was desperate; she needed a job, and she couldn’t go home. The dorm was also closing for redecorating and would then be needed for summer school. Without her dorm room, she needed somewhere to live. She needed an income to find somewhere to live, and finding a job was just about impossible.
The advert for a model from June to September seemed like a dream, but she could read between the lines. It wasn’t going to be catalog stuff. Still, she was desperate enough to apply, only to find so had a hundred others. What she didn’t expect was to make the final four, let alone be offered the job. It felt like Christmas when she found out there was an apartment that could be offered as part of the job.
Mind you, the kind of modeling required was a bit more than she’d expected. She didn’t think she’d do many shoots where her clothes stayed on!
