Chloe was taking me home to meet her mother, but she needed to confess what had happened during the summer before she met me. Apparently it had caused a huge scandal around the small town.
She’d been back at the same company as the previous year, and some of the warehouse guys remembered her and the card game. This time around, the company was modernizing, and they wanted the temporary summer workers to test the new paperless picking system.
Chloe managed to find herself in a dark corner of the warehouse with broken hardware and two guys.
