The Widow and the Beast (Mated to Monsters)

Helen had given up on love and romance. After the dark years with her husband James, she never thought she could fall in love with another man. Fate seemed to have a beastman in store for her, though.

Most beastmen were considered monsters by those around them, but Helen never thought like that. Her father had served with some when he was a soldier and told her tales of their bravery, which was why she didn’t hesitate for long to hire Marcus – a wolfman – to help her on the farm. It helped that he had saved her from the attentions of her former brother-in-law and that she really needed the help.

She never expected to feel drawn to the bestial man, to start caring for him as she had promised herself she would never again.

Fate seemed intent on knotting their fates together, and there was very little she could do about that.

The Widow and the Beast belongs to the Mated to Monsters series, a series for adults that features romance between women and fantasy monsters, more often than not with pregnancy involved. Not recommended for anyone younger than eighteen.
