Avenging Angels: In the Beginning

A novel by

Heaven is losing the fight for Earth to Hell. Humans are succumbing to the temptations and corruption offered by the demons - losing their way, and now things have reached a critical point. With angels unable to lie and deceive, they cannot compete with the manipulative ways of the demons, they ill equipped to fight back. Just as all seems lost Peter finds a long-forgotten clause, one which offers Heaven its only chance of salvation. The redemption clause states that any soul who dies while saving another shows the potential for being good and can be saved. With this in hand, Heaven sets up a new agency - the Avenging Angels, recruiting evil souls destined for Hell, offering them one last chance to escape the fire and enter Heaven. Intervening during the judging process they find three likely souls to help - Gerald, a stockbroker who has made a good living cheating investors out of their savings; Angelo, a mafia hit-man and Melissa, a savvy femme fatale. With their very souls at stake, the Avenging Angels must devise a plan to change key points in history to stop the tidal-wave of evil heading in Earth's direction, and save humanity from itself. Simple, right? What could possibly go wrong? One simple plan, three evil soul's and a world full of good intentions.
