Blurred Lines

(2015)
(The first book in the Bodies Ink and Steel series)
A novel by

“Everyone has secrets; revealing them is simply a matter of finding out where to dig.”

RILEY
I moved in with him at the age of 17, and by the time I was 21, he’d hit me for the last time. I gathered up my things, took the car he bought me, and left.

My first stop? A celebratory tattoo, of course.

I had no idea when I walked into Blurred Lines that the owner would be handsome, mysterious, tattooed, and muscular.

Having him permanently etch his artwork on my skin became an addiction.

And, so did he.

The more I understood Blake, the more interesting he became. His past was pieced together by a series of events that he barely
recollected. Through our discussions during my sessions, however, things became clearer.

Then, one day, he remembered everything.

And, I was left to decide if I could handle the monsters of his past.

BLAKE

When Riley walked into my shop the first time, I stopped dead in my tracks.

21, gorgeous, and carefree, she was everything I wasn’t.

Yet.

She was everything I wanted.

There was one small problem.

My perceptions and reality sometimes differ greatly, leaving me with beliefs that may or may not be reality. Things get blurry.

I knew one thing for sure.

I wanted Riley Campbell.

Or at least I wanted my perception of her.

AUTHORS NOTE: HEA, stand-alone, no cheating, no sex outside the relationship.
