Feels Like Love

(2027)
(The second book in the Feels Like series)
A novel by

Firefighter x former pro footballer in a steamy, forced proximity, double bi awakening MM romance

Ramzi

Howie and I have been hooking up on and off for the last three years, including the last two Valentine's Days.

Recently, it's been more off than on, and I don't know why. The sex is out-of-this-world stupendous, but Howie is so closed off and near impossible to read.

If he's over it, then fine. Whatever. I guess I can be over it, too.

When my best friend, Buzz (a.k.a. Howie's twin brother), suggests getting out of town for Valentine's Day, I take him up on it.

The thing is, Buzz failed to mention one teeny tiny detail—he made the same offer to Howie. Which means, yep, we're forced to spend the most romantic day of the year together.

murder my twin brother.

Ending up in a tropical paradise with the one guy I was trying to stay away from is not how this Valentine's Day was meant to turn out.

See, I like Ramzi. And that's a problem since I have a history of being too needy, too overbearing. So I've been holding back, shutting down all of his attempts to get closer, and keeping some much-needed distance between us.

Something that's very hard to do when you're sharing a room with someone.

We talk. And laugh. We go sightseeing. And did I mention we're on a gorgeous island in the Caribbean?

So I make a deal with myself. Since we're only here for a few days, I'm going to allow myself to enjoy our time together. Maybe even indulge in a little make-believe of what we could be. I'll snap out of it once we're back in Clovelly.

But the thing is, now that the lines have been blurred, I don't want to go back to how we were. I want Ramzi, even though I'm scared of losing him.
