Halloween. A night full of tricks—and this year more than ever—treats.
I can’t believe my scares and freights are coming from the very building I just started my internship in last week.
But a masquerade bash on Halloween can be fun, right?
Making this out to be a memorable night could be vital in increasing my chances of sticking around after surviving the program. In one week alone, it’s now clear everyone around here is just so…different than me.
Though I’ll need to build at least one connection for any doors to swing open. Even I know that.
And tonight, a new connection is made I never knew was bound to exist—one you only ever hear about in forbidden fairytales.
I’m catching myself falling for a masked giant, whose possessive edge leaves not a square inch of room to argue as he vows to make me his.
I stepped out this evening with the intention of making a name for myself. What I’m certainly not here for is to stray off course, even by the means of this devilish phantom covering my every move.
Now, the only fear consuming me this Halloween is the mere thought of becoming just some random treat…for Daddy.
